So I am currently 22,in my final year of college. I don't want to compare myself with others, but I feel am I not capable for anything. My friends or classmates(some are smaller in age than me)are doing some part time jobs, getting internships, earning from various sources, buying stuffs & when I see myself what I do just go to college come home eat & sleep. Like I want to work, I want to enhance my skills, I want to do something unique & big in life but I have no directions on what to do. For skill enhancement i enroll myself with some certification courses but it gets limited to a LinkedIn profile. I dont have networking opportunities, social life, friends or guidance. Waiting to end the college & get placed or just pursue masters.

Hey, it's totally normal to feel lost sometimes, especially during such a big transition. Instead of comparing yourself to others, focus on what you enjoy and what skills you want to develop. Try joining clubs or groups related to your interests—this can help with networking and making friends. Also, reaching out to mentors or professors can guide you. Remember, everyone's journey is different, and it's okay to take your time figuring things out!

Hi Kennewick, These feelings are completely normal during college. Don’t be hard on yourself by comparing with friends — everyone’s journey and goals are different. The key is to decide on a goal and consistently work toward it. With time, everything will fall into place. Worrying or comparing will only drain your energy and keep you stuck in thought, so focus on your own path.
