This is just a rant. To clear my mind. People are allowed to pass opinions. Lol ok.. So i have a really dominating MIL who keeps interfering with everything I do. Weather it cooking something for my baby. Or some choices I make as his mom. Clothes I wear. Colour of bangles that I wear. Bindi size... Just everything. Literally everything. I just act as i agree to everything and ignore her. Just to avoid family tension and melodrama. But it's mentally disturbing for me. My husband doesn't have problem with stuff I do. But this woman does. He even spoke to her about it. But my mil won't stop!!

So mature to open for any opinions. And you are so much mature and resposible. You are maintaing peace at home .It will be good for baby.As you are ignoring her outside ...start ignoring her from your brain. Now you know what she will do on certain things.Your mind start guessing things like now she will do this or that.Just start guessing and feel happy like i know will will behave like this...slowly slowly even your mind will be free from her toxicity. You are a Nice awesome personđź’ź

It sounds really tough to deal with a dominating MIL! It's great that your husband is supportive, but it can be draining when someone constantly interferes. Keep doing what you feel is right for you and your baby. Maybe try setting some boundaries gently but firmly when you can. Remember, it’s okay to prioritize your peace of mind. Don’t hesitate to talk to your husband again if it gets too overwhelming. You’ve got this!
